Happy Monday...

I should have snapped photos of the insanity which has been my walk in closet these past few months. All was well structured and fine in the land of plastic hangers and shoe boxes until Chw moved here from Michigan.
I can't say that I completely blame him.
We had redone our huge closet there, to be the epitome of organization and ease. It was BEAUTIFUL! And then we lost our house and Gen and I move here, while he remains there living out of a small suitcase and a rubbermaid tote for 6 months.
So, when he once again had a closet, he wasn't so into the "everything has a place" way of doing things...
(Well, that and the fact that I must have incredibly underestimated how much the boy could fit in one small suitcase and a rubbermaid tote!)

So, that was my big weekend project.
While my bedroom and bathroom are still a slight wreck from the undertaking, I have to say my closet is looking pretty fantastic.

My real issue this morning is with the sun.
Granted, I'm grateful for blue, cloudless skies, but here's the thing: I like to sleep.
I also like my nights, so I tend to not make it to bed until I've had at least 3 childless hours. When the sun is breaking through my dark-lined-curtain barrier at 6 in the morning, things aren't bound to go smoothly throughout the day.
Now I'm cranky.
And tired.

Today is Amanda's birthday! I am posting a letter to her, but probably not until Thursday, as we are having an intimate gathering of loved ones on Wednesday evening, in celebration.

Last week, my fabulously awesome friend Chickie Momma (whom I've known well over a decade) gifted me with a fantastic bloggy award. It truly is an honor, coming from her...
