Your contributions... *UPDATED*

I really contemplated blogging this photo...

I am a details kinda girl and there are literally dozens of them, in this photo, which scream at me.

* This morning I asked what you would caption it. I had several great emails, and a couple of really good comments...

I need to say, first of all, that i LOVE this photo. I have ordered a big fat print to frame and mount dead center on some really important wall somewhere.

Genny's expression, in this picture, reminds me of home. It reminds me of being here. It's a face we see, all of the time, on Genny... A face which seldom appeared before the move. Sure, she has had some downs since being here, that's life... But this expression of joy has hovered above her since we unpacked our last box.
Despite family dramas, broken puppy tails, sickness, my migraines, her daddy's more frequent absences and every detail of our life morphing into something new and unexplored... Despite ALL of that, this is Genny... (well, and Lucas... Who is a significant part of the photo and why I love it SO much, but her expression wins it for me.)
Thanks for letting me share...

it reminds me of taking christmas pictures as a kid and getting all posed and smiling... and then my brother would tickle me so I ended up looking like a dork in every shot ;-)

I love this photo also because it is a moment captured in time. Not posed or set up. It is true emotion.

Thanks for your comment by the way. I sure needed it :)

This reminds me of weekend day trips as a family. Jumping around, skipping rocks with my older and only brother. He tickles me silly driving me mad, yet looking back now, realizing those were the moments I cherish the most!
